AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.  Since 1881, AAUW (formerly known as the American Association of University Women) has been the nation's leading voice promoting education and equity for women and girls. To apply for membership in AAUW,  you may now apply online at AAUW's National website at www.aauw.org.  You will be able to pay your dues with a credit or debit card.  Dues are $69.00 per year:  $49 for National dues; $10 for State dues; and $10 for Branch dues.  $46 of those dollars are tax deductible.  Join or renew your membership online. Beat the Rush!
 
Give a Grad a Gift
 
May is graduation month.  What better way to say I Love You than to give someone a free national membership to AAUW.  AAUW Members can give a one-year national membership--a $49 value--to a friend, daughter, son, granddaughter, grandson, niece, or nephew.  Go to the national website at www.aauw.org, log into member services, and fill out the online form.  Remember to ask your grad if they would like the gift before signing them up.
